How do ex-inmates apply for assistance in employment?

For difficulty in employment, ex-inmates may seek assistance in the following ways:
1. Visit Taichung Branch of Taiwan After-care Association in person (Tel: (04) 2223-6240; e-mail: after-care403@mail.mog.gov.tw ) for face-to-face consultation (provide job search information). For those who wish to find a job, the Taichung Branch of Taiwan After-care Association will look for suitable jobs from the job databases of rehabilitation businesses or affiliated enterprises. After seeking consent of the enterprise, the person will be recommended for an interview, or be referred to a public employment service agency, where a project manager will provide assistance in finding a suitable job through one-to-one consultation.
2. Ex-inmates who are interested in the vocational training offered by the Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training or any other county/city government may apply for a certifying document from various branches of Taiwan After-care Association for waiver of the training fee.
3. Council of Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan also provides employment-related allowances or subsidies for ex-inmates. Those meeting the requirements as set down in the regulations are welcome to apply. For enquiry, please contact a nearby office of Taiwan After-care Association for assistance.
